CY2500 Series 30 MW-Class Mobile Gas Turbine Power Plant Release Update
Changyuan Donggu has released the latest update on the CY2500 series of mobile gas turbine power plants. This series is a family of 30 MW-class aeroderivative dual-fuel generator sets, fully supplied by Changyuan Donggu with end-to-end lifecycle services—from delivery and commissioning to long-term maintenance, all under a single responsible entity.
Changyuan Donggu has released the latest update on the CY2500 series of mobile gas turbine power plants. This series is a family of 30 MW-class aeroderivative dual-fuel generator sets, fully supplied by Changyuan Donggu with end-to-end lifecycle services—from delivery and commissioning to long-term maintenance, all under a single responsible entity.
The series comprises five models: CY2500, CY2500A, CY2500B, CY2500H, and the high-power CY2535, with ratings of 30.5–34.5 MW (ISO) and a simple-cycle efficiency of approximately 39–40.6%. The base model CY2500 (31.5 MW) is already in production and available for sale, delivered with an NOx emission configuration of 25 ppm.
Each model can be delivered as a standard stationary unit or as a complete trailer-mounted mobile power plant. The mobile plant consists of three road-transportable modules—intake filtration, gas turbine generation, and control & distribution—providing output ranging from 380 V to 13.8 kV at 50/60 Hz, and supporting natural gas, diesel, and ethanol as fuel.
The platform has entered commercial operation, with base‑load units accumulating over 8,000 operating hours. To date, seven projects involving 11 units have been commissioned in pipeline pressure boosting and combined‑cycle power generation applications. The maintenance framework is structured in three tiers—L1 (borescope inspection), L2 (hot‑side access), and L3 (overhaul)—and the equipment is designed for a 30‑year service life. Long‑term service agreements and full‑site operations and maintenance outsourcing are available as options.
