On May 15th, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held the 2025 '5·15 National Investor Protection Publicity Day' event in Beijing. Wu Qing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the CSRC, attended the event. Chen Huaping, Member of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the CSRC; Gao Xiaoli, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court; Miao Shengming, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate; and Fu Wanjun, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, also attended the event and delivered speeches.
On May 15, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held the 2025 "May 15 National Investor Protection Publicity Day" event in Beijing. Wu Qing, Party Secretary and Chairman of the CSRC, attended the event, along with Chen Huaping, Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the CSRC; Gao Xiaoli, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court; Miao Shengming, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate; and Fu Wanjun, Party Committee Member and Vice Director of the National Financial Regulatory Administration. They all delivered speeches at the event.
On the same day, the Supreme People's Court and the CSRC jointly released the "Guiding Opinions on Strict and Fair Law Enforcement and Judicial Protection to Support the High-Quality Development of the Capital Market." This is a guiding document for judicial protection of the high-quality development of the capital market. The CSRC and related system units will jointly release the "Regulations on the Supervision of Listed Company Fundraising" and related self-regulatory organization business rules, as well as other institutional rules closely related to investor protection, along with important investor protection measures and demonstration cases of mechanism innovation. The "2024 Law Enforcement Overview of the China Securities Regulatory Commission" will also be released, providing a comprehensive overview of the CSRC's law enforcement activities in 2024. At the same time, various units within the CSRC system will work together with local financial regulatory departments and public security and judicial organs to organize diverse and rich investor protection publicity and education activities nationwide, actively promoting capital market policies, regulations, investor protection work, and investment knowledge to help investors enhance their risk awareness and self-protection capabilities.
Officials from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervisory Commission's Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group stationed at the CSRC; relevant officials from the Central Financial Leading Group Office, the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Finance, the People's Bank of China, the National Audit Office, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Financial Regulatory Administration, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange; heads of various departments and units of the CSRC in Beijing; and media representatives attended the main venue event. Officials from units outside Beijing participated in the event via video link at branch venues.
